Who is Carole Baskin and why bring her to therapy? Carole Baskin is what I'd like to call the perfect trauma case study. And what a great way to introduce a heavy topic. She was a lead in the limited documentary series The Tiger King which airs on Netflix. In episode three of The Unorthodox Therapist I clinically break down Carole Baskin's childhood, multiple marriages, and a cult formally known as the Big Cat Rescue. I will cue you in on details not mentioned in Netflix's The Tiger King about Carole's life and lightly and comically explore how trauma and a lack of safety can potentially fester into burying your husband in a septic tank.
